We are excited to collaborate with Dr. Chelsey Armstrong and the Historical and Ethnoecological Research (HER) Lab at SFU as part of the ongoing research on the reclamation and revitalization of Indigenous Forest Gardens. Learn more about Dr. Armstrong’s work and the Indigenous Forest Gardens. Our contributions to the forest garden research include studying plant-soil interactions and soil processes along with Dr. Jean-Thomas (JT) Cornelis and the SoilRes3 Lab here at UBC As our research is entirely based in Indigenous communities, we are fortunate to be co-researchers alongside Lillooet Tribal Council, Cowichan Tribes, Seabird Island First Nation, and Kitselas First Nation. More to come on our Indigenous co-Researchers!
