PhD student Joyce Chan shares encounters with wild lupine, nodding onion, Indian paintbrush, and tiger lily during field season in the McKay Creek post-wildfire area on St'at'imc territory in northern BC.

Research being conducted by the Indigenous Ecology Lab in collaboration with the northern St'át'imc Nations—Ts'kw'aylaxw, Xwísten, and T'it'q'et-P'egp'íg'lha—and the Lillooet Regional Invasive Species Society, has been featured in a two-part CBC Ideas documentary series titled "Healing the Land."
